Local Malibu native, my passion is to share wave knowledge Ive acquired from over 28 years surfing and coaching all over the world. I have access to private waves for any level surfer.

Malibu Surf Coach was founded from my passion and expertise and love of my home surf break, Point Dume. With over 20 years of instructional experience, I designed MSC’s surf program from my extensive experience and surfing waves all over the globe. I have trained, coached, and managed numerous surf schools all over the world from Hawaii to Australia to the Canary Islands running the Quicksilver Surf School. I have helped create and run various other programs bi-coastally in the United States from Summertime Surf in New Jersey (largest surf camp on the East Coast), to Quicksilver’s Perfect Day Surf Camp in the South Bay to Aqua Surf in Santa Monica. I founded the first ever Tahoe Tessie’s Surf Camp in Lake Tahoe (yes, there are waves in a lake), as well as founded the Venice Beach Westside Boardriders club. No matter where my travels have led me, my heart has always belonged to the City of Malibu where I rebuilt and coached the Malibu High School Surf Team and decided to go out on my own and start Malibu Surf Coach over 10 years ago.
